Balance Wiz: Balance Wiz checks a selection of numbers in one column to find the numbers* that sum a given amount. To use this Add-In, select a range of numbers, then click Balance Wiz from the Tools menu. Enter the sum you are looking for, and Balance Wiz will find number combinations that sum that amount. *The Balance Wiz searches for a maximum of 5 number combinations that sum a given amount. |

Fill Down: The Fill Down add-in starts at the selected cell, and goes all the way to the end of the column filling in any blank cells with the value above it. This is useful if you have a spreadsheet that was set up by someone who leaves cells blank rather than repeating data. Fill Down enters the missing data, making it possible to sort by that column. Just select the cell at the top of the area you want to fill down, and click Fill Down from the Tools menu. |

Text To Values: The Text To Values add-in looks at all the cells in the worksheet, and converts any number stored as text to a value. Have you ever copied numbers from another program and pasted them into Excel, but then can't add or sum the column? This macro fixes the problem. Just click Text To Values from the Tools menu, and you'll be able to sum that column of pasted numbers. |

Craigslist Search Engine: This is not really an add-in, but it is a VERY helpful tool if you browse craigslist regularly. This Excel application retrieves results from all 300+ local craigslist sites in one easy search. Just enter the search criteria and click the Submit button. The tool goes to work searching all 300+ sites and returning the results to an excel sheet. |

Survey Wizard: This application gives you the ability to easily create Excel-based surveys. Just type the survey questions into the "Questions" tab, and the program puts those questions into an easy-to-use survey form. The user completes the survey and emails the file back to the person collecting the results. Designed for up to 500 yes-or-no questions. |

Combine HTML Tables: This is a very useful tool for anyone who needs to combine and convert HTML tables into Excel format. Simply save this file into a folder that contains a bunch of HTML files, and then open it. The utility combines all the HTML files in that folder into one big Excel spreadsheet. Say goodbye to copying-and-pasting all those files together! |
